Day 2 of our declutter challenge focused on clothes. I did make a huge dent in my closet but this is going to go on for several days! I went through the bottom drawer of the dresser and one half of my closet. I ended up with 3 bags to donate! I still have the other half of the closet and the stuff on the shelf in the closet so I'll keep picking away. But as JGA, our declutter "leader" said - any forward progress is good! If I can keep doing something each day, I'll get there! Day 3 is undergarments, but I've already done that so I'll be back to the closet to pick through more clothes.
Now that the dresser is almost cleaned out, I really need to replace it. I've been looking at bedroom sets, but I need to get one ASAP!
A less pressing, but totally awesome "need" is this giant unicorn pool float. Holy cow, it's seats six! It's a Sam's Club exclusive but they're sold out. I don't even think this would fit in my pool!
Today is Day 2 of my diet. I started at 206.4 (yikes!) and today I weighed in at 203.4. Probably a fluke because my dad and I had chinese food on Saturday for his birthday dinner so I may have been all bloated with salt but I'll take it! I had a great day - I wasn't hungry at all, which is unusual for me and I even enjoyed my Medifast cereal with coconut milk. Any diet plan can work if you stick with it so I'm just trying to do the thang and get this done! My ankle/foot is throbbing with this weather (old lady bones), which is cramping my workouts, but I'm hoping I'll be back to normal soon. I still need to set up the pilates chair that I ordered, but that's more a weekend task!
